They got, what, 11 armies? I was expecting them to be, like, the high tens, so, like, 16 to 18-ish, and they weren't.
Yeah, I talked to a couple of the people I was expecting to see playing Kithgar that ended up not
bringing them.
Oh, yeah? Yeah, basically one of them thinks they're not quite able to compete with the overall meta, that they have too many holes in their pair.
Another one, unfortunately, just couldn't get the models in time, which, to be fair, if you're not able to get your hands on the Fortress King, I don't think they're at the same level faction.
But that's also why I'm not surprised by Fane of Nero being, you know, not higher than it is.
Like I said, that'd probably be like fifth place just because of accessibility of models and paint and practice time.
Like Nymera dropped yesterday.
And like by the time that ships, you have, if you're lucky, less than a week to paint it.
And that's assuming you're in a country with good delivery times, right? I've heard there's some places where deliveries are really delayed.
Yeah, I think
availability of models, it's definitely a factor in people picking their pairs.
Yeah, like we're lucky we tend to get stuff like a week or two after release date, give or take.
Like I know like the Nymera that my teammate is playing is going to be delivered on like the 21st.
Which is definitely cutting it close in terms of getting it painted.
Trade-off is if it's one model, like if the rest of my army is painted and all I need is this one caster, like even I can paint a model in a week if it's the only model left to paint.
Yeah, totally.
That means the rest has to be, you know, caught up and you have to have 99% painted.
Yeah, like if you were bringing, for example, Harisheth as well, I mean, you've had the ability to print him for like two weeks.
And of course, you're not able to play the rest of the stuff in his box.
Yeah,
because that releases later in the month, right?
Yeah.
It's funny you talk about Nymera, I mean, being such a new release.
