This is the default path that most content creators do, and this is the one I've talked about this week after week.

If you've been listening to me, you're probably like, "Ralph, you're like a broken record." But this is all I see.

You put it out maybe every week, every other week, once a month, whatever that works for you.

You create the content, and you grow an audience, and your audience starts to grow.

You start to get to twenty-seven downloads, and then you go to fifty, and then you go to a hundred.

And then like most people, you start to ask the question, "How do I even make money at this? I'm spending money for subscriptions." Maybe you're spending money for an editor.

So like most people, you start to think, "Well, you know what I can do? I can start selling advertisements." There's a ton of people out there that'll tell you, "Hey, you can advertise on our network.

You can advertise on this." Maybe you look for sponsors, or maybe you look for affiliate links.

And then somebody tells you, and you don't wanna hear this, "You got a good content, you got a good audience, but you just need more to scale.

You gotta have more downloads." So for so many of us, we chase those downloads.

That phrase is the most expensive sentence in this industry because I've not seen a single person that's ever put a real number on it.
