Today, let's start with just like a little story because I think this is a good way for you to see yourself in some of the patterns that we're gonna talk about today.

And a woman just got off the phone after a solid hour with one of her best friends.

Her best friend was spiraling about a breakup and she was so good at holding space for her.

And her best friend, she thanked her like a million times before they hung up the phone because she really showed up for her.

But when this woman, she hangs up the phone and she puts her phone down, she notices that her chest is heavy.

And it's that same feeling that's been sitting there for a number of days at this point.

And she starts typing something along the lines of like, hey, could I call you for a minute? I'm having just a really hard time.

If Jenna ignored her or seemed annoyed, this would almost make a bit more sense logically.

But Jenna would say, yes, she'd show up exactly the way this woman had just showed up for one of her best friends.

But there's something about that that feels unbearable in a way that's hard to put words to.
