Anne Parker CliftonGuestPodcast Co-HostHostOliverHostSo what we've established is the roster is loaded.
Both sides of the ball.
Whatever your take and opinion is on the relevance of preseason polls, Texas is right up there at the sharp end.
Schedule isn't super unkind.
Outside of Ohio State, which we've obviously touched on, and the Red River, which we are going to touch on because it's the best game in college football outside of Army-Navy.
What are the games that Texas fans should look at as maybe being... worrisome, potential banana skins, maybe harder than people might think.

Going back to last year and looking at some of those games that Texas should have cruised through, like Kentucky and Mississippi State and how much they struggled in those games on the road, that alone leads me to think that Missouri could be a tough opponent.

We know how tough this schedule is, and when you get to November... guys are just going to be banged up so that definitely is one that kind of stands out to me as maybe a trap game i also look at lsu anything that falls in the month of december is what i'm kind of like i don't know lsu on the road that's going to be a really really tough environment i am not as nervous for that as i would maybe normally be just because I know that there's a lot of hype surrounding LSU, but when you have, what, 39 transfers, you just don't know.

There's more question marks around LSU than I feel like we give it credit for.

But those would be the two that I have circled on my calendar would be Missouri, LSU.

And honestly, I think a lot of that has to do with their emotion and their mindset going into that game.

When we were at SEC Media Days, Stark talked about at the end of the Lone Star Showdown last year, they flashed Mike Elko on the Jumbotron saying like, Texas A&M is the flagship university of Texas.

And that came up at SEC Media Days and Sartre talked about how much he hated that.

And I think when you look at Texas A&M, there's more of that emotional element.

Whereas for Texas, yes, it's a rivalry game, but it's also just another game.
