When you start to look for ways to refresh other people, like what might they need? What's a way I could serve them? You don't have to worry so much about, will I get my needs met? Will I be comfortable? Because the Lord refreshes you.
I know I've told you this story before, Steph, but my dad said, it was so funny, he came in, he didn't even ask me what was wrong.
And I remember thinking, what kind of advice is that? Like, I'm having a hard day, I'm sad.
And, you know, I, Steph, you and I have had the opportunity to work at a church together and do ministry together.
And as I stepped into the church we're at right now, I was the high school pastor for 10 years before I stepped into the lead pastor role.
And a couple of years into being a high school pastor, we made a decision to not have a high school specific Sunday morning program where we're taking students away from the church, but instead to help high school students fall in love with the church by worshiping with the intergenerational church and also serving throughout the church.
And that was a big change for our church, but it has produced something so incredible.
