I believe if there's ever been a time that the world needs strong leadership, it's in these moments.

However, leadership is under more pressure today maybe that... than any other point in recent history that I can remember, and many leaders are questioning, "Is this journey, is it even worth the burden? Is it worth the burden?" There's research on this.

DDI, uh, I follow their global leadership forecast to try to get ahead of the curve, and most recently, this forecast told us that 40% of the world leaders are considering leaving their leadership role, and for one reason: they wanna improve their wellbeing.

They're talking about, "I'm walking away from leadership altogether." And listen, [sniffs] I get this.

I've talked to leaders that you could feel the anxiety they were carrying in their voice.

Listen, I've carried the weight of leadership myself, and I have an unbelievable behind-the-scenes view of many leaders today, and I know this is a real opportunity.

Hey, you know what? It's not even about how to deliver feedback better, and you know I love that conversation.

Maybe you're leading a company, maybe you're leading a department, maybe you're leading your family, maybe you're leading five people, maybe you're leading 1,000 people, but here's what I've learned: leadership has a way of making you smile in public when all the lights are shining while carrying things in private that is weighing you down.
