What was the atmosphere like? How did you think the government managed it? That was kind of like our first big sighting of him with everybody.

Yeah, I think Micheál Martin would be pretty happy, if not pretty ecstatic about how the whole weekend went, particularly being topped off with the whiskey tariffs being removed.

Informally, you know, there was a lot of anticipation about what this press conference was going to be like.

Often when there's foreign dignitaries over, it can be quite regimented and they only give maybe two questions to the Irish press and two to the foreign press conference.

But we kind of know what it's like with Donald Trump, like having been in the White House and what they call is like the media spray or, you know, it's just a barrage of questions being shouted.

The room it was in in Farmley was kind of small, like we all had to line up outside, similar to the way we did as we go into the Oval Office.

The White House staff, I'm not sure who they were, were typically as rude as ever.

They were shouting at us to get in line, shouting at the government press officials saying, get your Irish press in line, like literally shouting.

Yeah, like literally one of the officials was kind of like, here, like we don't really just, you know, shout down or, you know, we have a bit of respect here.

And the guards, I did see one guard kind of look very shocked when the press officer, whoever she was, kind of let a roar at them and did step out of her way.
