Skip BridgesHostYeah, you can tell that she has really embarked on a, an adventure that is deep in the sweet spot of her passion, which is so exciting to see, especially because a- as you'll discover, like, it is not an easy thing.
But it can be so much easier, uh, if you have the right tools and techniques and understanding of what you're dealing with.

She was talking about a year before she even wanted to be a parent, she was reading books about stuff, listening to podcasts, seeking information about it.

You're not an expert in that category, so you better hopefully learn a lot of stuff and be that expert by the time the baby arrives.
And so her t- her information and techniques obviously are fantastic, and I would highly recommend everybody dig into those.
And then one of the other things that I found super valuable when I was becoming a parent was to ask people, like, "What was your favorite thing that your parents..." And I would ask people that were my age, like, "When you were a kid, what was the favorite thing that you did, uh, with your parents or that your parents did with you? What are some of your favorite memories?" That was so valuable.
And then I, I knew that I was having a daughter, so I would ask all my female friends, like, "What do I need to know-"
... as the parent of a daughter? And, uh, so I highly encourage you to add that to your mix if you're thinking about being a parent someday.
She was talking about how each kid is unique and the situation is unique, and it's about finding the decoder ring for your kid.
