Have you ever gotten to Monday morning and felt like the week already won before it even started? No food plan, no idea what's happening with carpool, laundry still in the hamper, and you are just…

Today, we wanted to talk about how to kinda set up your week in a way that feels a little bit lighter and a little bit less overwhelming.

So we'll go through these, and I am hoping that you can take one or two of them, maybe a few, and implement them over this weekend so that you can feel a little lighter in your week.

When do you need a fast meal? When do you have a little bit of extra time to cook, or what will you exactly be eating kinda when do you have more time? So oftentimes, what I will do is I'll sit down with just a pad of paper and my calendar, and I'll write down, "Okay, these days we have this thing in the afternoon.

This day somebody else has something." So I just kinda map out our week and think through, "Okay, what do we want to be eating each of these days?" We have kind of our go-to things that we like, that our kids like, and that are easy.

And so we figure out, "Okay, when can we make what?" And so we kinda map out all that plan.

And if there's a new recipe or something fun that we wanna try, my husband will usually make that on a night that either we have a little bit less going on, or maybe he makes it over the weekend to try it out when we have a little more time.

So I've done a whole episode all about meal planning and 10 different ways that you can meal plan to make it lighter over the weekend.

Make a meal plan for the week, and that will help you so much because you won't be looking at your fridge at 4:00 or 5:00 and thinking, "Oh my gosh.

What are we making for dinner tonight?" If you have it mapped out, it will be a huge help.

And then number two, kind of along with that, is we plan out what we need to get from the grocery store so that we can stock up for the week before the week starts.

Because can I be honest with you? We do not have time to run around to the grocery store.

I know this week we have run to the grocery store two or three times because we either forgot stuff, or we needed to get stuff, or we didn't get things over the weekend, and it can be really tricky to figure out how to fit that in.

With two cars, three drivers, sports, school, regular events, and work, it can be tricky to figure out, "Okay, when can I use the car to go run over to the grocery store? And I can't use it on the way home because we're going to a game where the food will be boughten in the car by the time I get back." So to figure out grocery store runs, I've found that there's...

it's so tricky logistically over the week, that it is far easier over the weekend to figure out, "Okay, this is what we need f- we're gonna do for meals.
