CBS47/FOX30 FIRST ALERT FORECAST – TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2026 First Alert Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh WOKV RADIO The WOKV Weather Meter for Today: 8 TODAY: Mostly sunny and breezy. High…
Action News Jack's first alert weather center.
I'm meteorologist Garrett Biedenwald in for chief meteorologist Mike Burrish the rest of the week.
We are tracking mostly sunny skies, high pressure in control of our forecast today.
Still a bit of a breeze out of the north and northeast around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
20 plus mile an hour gusts closer to the coast.
Still a high rip current risk at our local beaches as well.
Temperatures in the low 70s this afternoon at the coast, mid to upper 70s well inland after our cool start.
50s again overnight tonight and tomorrow morning will be in the lower to mid 50s.
Mostly clear skies, still dry, dry on Wednesday.
Sunny skies, not as much wind and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, lower to mid 70s along our coastline.
Thursday, sunny skies again.
We'll make it back into the upper 70s.
Upper 70s on Friday, still sunny.
And then Saturday, it looks like another local nor'easter trying to set up with windy conditions at the beaches, breezy inland, partly cloudy, and a few showers rolling off the Atlantic.
We'll be tracking those on First Alert Doppler HD and updating that forecast throughout the rest of this week.
But temperatures in the lower to mid-70s, This weekend, likely at least some minor to moderate tidal flooding if that local nor'easter comes true over the weekend.
We'll be tracking that potential at times of high tide, if you're susceptible to that, along the St. Johns River Basin, Intracostal, and our local beaches.
We'll be monitoring that over the next couple of days, but enjoy the sunshine here today, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
