Pete FrancisHostI, I, I feel like my fans have been coming up to me for years, um, and saying that they want what they just saw, you know, on a record to take home with them.
Uh, the record label, you know, we just were all in agreeance all at the same time that it'd be a, you know, good timing to come out.
Um, but I think the, the record that came before it, my Paper Doll studio album, um, those songs really lent themselves to the stage, and I think a l- I have a lot of, a lot of the reason why is I played with my touring band, you know, on the studio session.
And there was just something really organic and very natural about how those songs came together on stage.
So I think it was just this perfect timing and, you know, good set of songs to, to capture.
Um, we wanted to have the McCrary sisters join us, and the closest thing on the, on the tour schedule was Knoxville.
And The Bijou is actually perfect and, and, um, the people who worked at my label had actually worked there before, so they knew the sound system.
Um, and we have a good following there, and once we put the word out that we were doing a live record, we had people coming from all over the country and it, it was, it was just, you know, good, good cross-section.
