For everybody listening, you and I met in New York City just recently for the first time.

So that was just such a lovely experience to be able to see you in person and to finally connect.
And what I love more than anything about meeting you and that event too was the women that were in that room because that heat... real life here set off hot flashes for me and they didn't stop the whole time I was meeting you.
I felt like I was 120 degrees and, and, and, and it just didn't stop.
And I was so grateful to be in a room of, I don't know, like maybe 30 and 40 year olds who were like, it's okay.

Well, I think what nobody really said out loud that I will say right now is that most people in that room probably were experiencing something similar and different.

So, like, I'm in perimenopause right now, and I was probably having some of those hot flashes as well.

So I think, you know, just being real about it, which is what I love about – some of what the changes that have been happening in society lately is that we are more openly talking about struggles and things that we are all collectively kind of going through in one way or another.
But you know how it is when you're meeting somebody for the first time, you want everything to be perfect and you show up with hot flashes and I'm like, oh no.

And I love the acceptance of just like you showed up and that's what matters.
