a good week because you deserve to have a good week, right? So often we, as moms, especially are focused on our children.
We're focused on those around us, wanting to support those in our life to help them have a good week, right? doing everything we can in success to prepare, to plan, to make sure everybody around us, all the other lives that we interact with, that they have what is necessary and they have what is needed so they can have that good week and thrive.
But we kind of neglect ourselves in the process and we just stick to our own survival mode.
We're like, okay, well, you know, I want to focus on them.
I can handle, right.
And we are meant for more, right.
We are meant to also thrive just as our kids.
We are meant to also have that good week and enjoy life in the process.
And so sharing with you just a list of super quick things that you can do.
And it's not a lot of new things.
It's a lot of these reassurances, these simple shifts of things you're probably already doing, but realizing the potential it has to make your week.
good instead of just I'm surviving, right? And so the first thing that you can do to help make this week a good week is make something ordinary feel super special, okay? So make something that's normally an ordinary part of your day, part of your routine, make it feel super special.
So maybe it is as simple as upgrading your morning coffee.
Maybe you splurge with a new favorite syrup.
If you make your own home coffee, adding in a new seasonal ingredient, right? Especially as we're getting closer to fall, adding some pumpkin in your morning coffee, or maybe it's listening to your favorite audio book or listening to your favorite playlist.
We all have those music and those songs with music, right? That take us back, that really allow us to unlock a deeper level of joy.
And so maybe go back to some of those songs that really can boost your mood, okay, really can allow you to feel happy and feel these really cool, joyful feelings.
Maybe it's really getting excited about family dinner and cooking something that you wanted to try or a favorite comfort meal.
Maybe it's your favorite evening routine where you Instead of just curling up in bed and closing the lights to go to sleep, maybe you are in your favorite cozy pajamas, you have a cup of tea, you have a favorite candle, you are curled up with a book, or maybe you watch a little bit of your favorite show, but taking a moment to make the ordinary feel super special.
Kind of like romanticizing your life a little bit, romanticizing super small windows of your day to feel exciting and to feel hopeful.
And so that's the first thing you can do to have a good week.
