Now, Montrealers know you through, like I mentioned, right, different hats that you've worn, both as a central defender for the impact, as a coach for CF Moyal, and also now as an assistant coach.
Can you talk to us a bit about what that process of joining fc supra was like and and what about the project made you feel like this was the next step
for you i'll be honest with you i'm i'm a little bit surprised about uh about supra because i know uh the president there the boss rocco placentino and i have a quick conversation with him and he told me you know what you can be excited to come and to join about FC Supra project.
And I say, well, yes, why not? We can, we can speak, we can, we can do a call like, like five, 10 minutes.
And we discussed, we discussed about, uh, about the, um, the vision, uh, the project.
And, uh, I think so it's five minutes at the phone with the, with the Rocco and, and he told me, Listen, we have a staff already, but they need a little bit like you, like experienced guys, the guys playing in the best league in the world.
We go to take a coffee together and we spoke about soccer idea, profile, style of play.
Now, you know, as a central defender, you look at this current crop that FC Supra has, and maybe before joining and getting to know everybody, and in addition to Ismail's tearing his ACL, what was maybe your first impression on this group as a whole, this defensive group as a unit, maybe?
It's tough to be a professional because in Canada, we don't have a lot of issues.
In Europe, you have a lot of clubs and if you start with one club, at the end, it's too difficult.
And now with the Supra du Québec, we have another opportunity for the young guys from Québec to expose his profile and to be maybe one day a professional like MLS standing.
I'm coming and I know some players because I play with him or I train with him in Impact Montreal.
And after a couple of days, I speak with the other guys and they respect me and I respect them.
