Colleen GallagherHostSo to kick us off, I'd love for you s- to tell us a bit more about your work with AAE and what you were trying to accomplish, the, the challenges that really brought you to this influencer campaign.

We partnered with the AAE for a number of years on communication strategies that build awareness of important issues like saving your natural teeth, elevating the profession, endodontists, they are the spec- dental specialists who are doing the root canal treatment, and in the beginning, that work focused mainly on earned media outreach.

And then what drove us to adding the influencer marketing or content, um, creator partnerships to the mix is that many of the AAE's members, the endodontists, were seeing a lot of misinformation about root canals spreading on social media.

You would see content creators ab- talking about root canals causing cancer, and, you know, after a number of months went by and more and more members were seeing the misinformation, they began to demand action.

They, they went directly to the AAE leadership team and said, "We need to do something about this." And that's when they turned to us, and we were already partnering with them, to look at developing a partnership with trusted influencers.
Yeah, I love your, your framing around the content creator rather than just influencer marketing.
I think sometimes people don't always look at that both ways and, and think of exactly what that is, and that this was membership driven.
I mean, this came from the members, and I think that that's really important.

Well, as you know, for many associations, there's, they will have members who are actively engaged on social media and others who aren't.

Increasingly they are, because, you know, as the new generations come up, that's, for the most part, that is how they are getting their information, and, and AAE was ahead of many associations in that they saw this happening, and they took action right away.
