Jordan Samuel FlemingHostOne of the strangest
questions we're going to have to answer as AI agents become more capable is actually a really simple one.
If work required intelligence, communication, interpretation, decision-making, judgment, or the ability to adapt to what was happening, ultimately a person had to do it.
But when the work itself required intelligence, you eventually arrived at a person.
We now have AI agents who can communicate with customers or interpret information, make decisions, exercise judgment within their responsibilities, manage ongoing relationships or recognize changes in context, and then take action.
So we're entering a world where for more and more responsibilities inside your business, the answer to could a person do this is yes.
But the answer to could an AI agent do this might also be yes, which creates a much more interesting question.
Who should do it? And I think we're going to get this wrong if we try to create a simple dividing line.
