I'm sorry to say that we are once again featuring The Common Law by Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., this time on the scintillating subject of contract law.
Well, I suppose it is interesting, even exciting, to those who understand its every nuance and thus make the big elephant bucks writing contracts.
In the nineteenth century, Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. was read to insomniacs, and the treatment had a cure rate of one hundred percent among the non-attorney population.
He was also known for putting entire juries to sleep after only a few minutes, and not a few judges either.
But imagine the progress we as a civilization have made, that now, in August twenty twenty-six, anyone can listen to the writing of this august jurist from an electronic device simulating the soporific effect he has had on students of law for over a hundred years.
