And so diving into the first question, Chief Shetler, we talked a little bit about the summit you had in the last episode, episode three.

Can you deep dive that summit and tell us a little bit about why you held the summit and why it was important?
Absolutely.

So we realized once we got all of the working groups stood up that if we wanted to make some serious strides into implementing the career field strategy, that we were going to need to bring everybody back, key leaders from all of the working groups and the career field managers, to get some courses of actions implemented.
from a strategic summit perspective, out to our biggest champions and with our A4 leadership, Lieutenant General Bell and Major General Arledge.
So with the support of the commanders in the field, we got a grouping of the best of the best to come back and build out a 10-day strategic summit for major decision-making milestones and vector checks from our most senior half A4 leadership.
We'll get into the details of them here in a minute, but topically and more specifically, we were looking for big-time updates for the aviation maintenance technician phase, the specialist phase to include what all of the specialties will be.
That's on everybody's mind.
The evolution of the two-way technical track.
what that's going to look like, how will we implement it conceptually, what's behind it, and what has the retention and incentives working group been able to come up with since the moment that they have been stood up? How can they affect change to support our current operations and how will all of their good ideas influence the implementation and make the career field strategy implementation of the future successful?

It sounds like the concept of having a summit was incredibly important, right? To bring all of those ideas and all that progress that's been happening over the past few months together into the same room and really make sure that you're hashing out how they fit together.
