I'm tempted to say I'm distressed at how much nonsense I talked on that one, but it has led on to interesting revelations and discussions about things like dungeoneers walking into walls and nightmare locations, so that's the best thing this podcast can do really, isn't it?
This hopefully final partial correction is about when I said that the two episodes of Series 5, Episodes 5 and 6, that aired as the only programs on CITV that day because of the Rugby World Cup, didn't have CITV continuity with Tommy Boyd.
Having listened to a clip on the Nightmare website of Tommy Boyd actually doing continuity for one of those episodes, I think what actually happened was something that was quite common in my area of the country with my ITV region, Thames Television.
They often used to hijack the continuity at the end of CITV on Fridays, do it themselves, and then hand over to London Weekend Television, LWT, right at the end of CITV.
Not use Tommy Boyd, I didn't see him, but he was actually there for other parts of the country.
I love how, like, 90% of the time these corrections are all things that only, like, the real uber fans actually notice.
The devil is in the detail, Martin, and I don't wanna leave it hanging there for someone to find someday.
