We sat down with the new Program Director of the Lima Chamber.
So let's talk a little bit about event planning, because from the outside, everything always looks very organized.
That usually means, Brian, that somebody behind the scenes is running around trying not to panic.
So, Liz, how do you stay organized when several events, deadlines, vendors, and people all need your attention at the same time?
So just depending on what exactly is happening, whatever is the most urgent is usually what I'm going to do first.
And then just work through the pile from there, depending on what help is needed where.
And that is typically the way I find that works for me to just handle all those things coming at me at one time.
So are you somebody who plans everything far in advance or do you actually work pretty well under last minute pressure?
I usually have really good ideas about like doing an event or something, but then sometimes I do procrastinate for things.
Um, I, I usually like to have a list and what I'll do is I'll have a deadline that's, Like something's due before it's actually due.
So that way, if I procrastinate until my deadline date, I still have a cushion that I'm not missing the actual deadline.
