Sovereignty in AI means having the ability to choose, to choose what is done with proprietary data, choose what model and choose where AI operates. Sovereignty is often considered viewed as choosing which jurisdiction applies the rule of law, with the US CLOUD act making US owned or operated platforms globally subject to US law.
