I am SO EXCITED that today my new book Relationship Skills officially releases into the world!! Because I believe that healthy relationships are not found, they’re built – I invited Levi and Sabrina…
So one thing I want to do with you guys today is I want to talk you through relationship skills.
And what I really want to teach you are the four different seasons that every relationship goes through.
And I want us to almost do a little bit of an assessment of which season you're in right now and then which areas we need to focus in on for growth.
So I'm just going to paint the picture for you of what the four seasons are as you're kind of listening and processing
where you might be.
So relationship skills kind of journeys into four different seasons because just like with nature, you go through four seasons.
Maybe not in Georgia, but typically speaking, there are four different seasons starting with the season of spring.
It's the season of planting the right seeds and being intentional to pull up weeds.
a season of growing your relationships.
And oftentimes that happens in the early months of a relationship, in the early months of marriage.
So we'll say for a lot of couples, it's like the honeymoon stage is the season of spring.
Summer is the season of connection and intimacy, spiritual intimacy, emotional intimacy.
And physical intimacy becomes the focus of that season of summer for good and for bad, meaning sometimes it's amazing.
