I wanna mention a couple things that we didn't have on our rundown, but you never know what's going to happen.
After more than a year, uh, the independent review of UVU, its security and possible-
... lapses on campus the day of the Charlie Kirk shooting, September 10th of 2025, uh, was released today.
And overall, uh, the statement that kinda stuck out to me is that the review found no UVU employees or agent acted in bad faith or in willful and wanton disregard for the safety of others.
But at the same time, when you go over the list of problems, you see there was no comprehensive written security plan.
Uh, security cameras, which we know they have on campus, we've seen them in the case now, no one was actually watching or monitoring them, so they had tools but weren't using them.
So there are a lot of things that can be learned from even, uh, a 2023 active assailant exercise flagged some problems that maybe they should have, um, adapted to.
So we're left with a lot of things, Ryan, that they can work on and be better, but overall it seems like nobody on purpose did something to make it a more dangerous situation, but there was certainly a whole lot more they could do.
And by the way, I haven't been through the entire thing either, so don't, don't feel bad.
