He fears standing in front of his Lord, or he fears the status of his Lord.
And he fears standing in front of his Lord, or he fears the status, the names and the attributes of his Lord.
and he prohibits his soul from its desires, Jannah will be his destination.
But they are something that is getting in the way of your path to Jannah.
Because remember, there are two types of soul and some of the ulama said three types of soul.
Lakin darrajih, the correct view is there's two types of soul, wallahu a'lam.
And we've spoken about this already in some of the lessons in the masjid.
إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ The soul is constantly telling you and commanding you and pushing you in the direction of that which is bad.
It's like driving a car and you find your car, you know, it's not, the wheel is not balanced.
You're trying to put the road straight on the Siratul Mustaqeem, but it keeps taking you off and you have to wrench it back, pull it back.
يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةِ اِرْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً All soul that is contented.
And that is the soul that has overcome its desires, that we're preventing it from taking the path to Jannah.
The third soul which is mentioned, the stronger view is that it applies to both of them.
