So first off, when we're finding an area, right? We've already fallen in love with this area.
So we have a advantage that our listeners haven't jumped in along with us.
So let's imagine we're going through an entire new spot, right? So we're looking at unit, I'm making this up, unit 100.

I'd have to look at a map.

We were expanding our scouting range.
But if this is a new unit where you're an out-of-stater and you don't have that luxury, walk me through that thought process.
Yeah, definitely starting on onX and doing some e-scouting.

I think you're a lot more analytical about this than I am, so I'm just gonna say I just look at it and I'm like, "This is a north-facing slope.
That's number one.
Like, where's water? Where are some bedding areas?" Looking at the elevation, too, like not wanting to get up too high.
They're not gonna be up in the rocky stuff.
They're still gonna be a little bit higher in September because it is so hot, so I'm just kinda, like, looking for, like, the nice, steady hill.
