I had a busy weekend, but I also had, again, a busy week leading up to the weekend.

So, like, when Friday came, I really felt like this is the first time in a while, like, I can really feel like it should be Friday now.

I deserve this Friday and I'm so ready for the weekend.

That's

rewarding.

And because we again had an event at work last week, and then it's just like, if it takes up a whole day and night, like, I feel like everything just feels a bit confused.

But it was a very cool event.

I was just supposed to help out.

And then I actually, like, one of the gates didn't, or a few of the gates didn't gum and i ended up like having a seat at the table and it was kind of like a six course wine pairing okay so that was actually so nice i love that um but yeah friday we went home to my parents

instead wait i saw you friday morning on your run that was so cute So very proud that you did your round on Friday.

But also when I

saw you, I immediately thought like, okay, well, we could literally have round together.

Yeah, we could have.

But we didn't chat about this.

But again, our schedule, it will also not be happening this week.

So honestly,

yeah.

But that was so nice.

And actually, like, I didn't want to ask to leave work earlier.

So, oh, I remember now.

Our timing actually worked out perfectly for me to go and pick up my dad at the airport because he works in Joburg.

um yes on friday and our family is not big on picking each other up at the airport like it's just never been a thing oh

okay

we're just thinking in terms of logistics it doesn't make sense like now one person has to take like double the time of their day exactly and there's no need for that like the other person can just like get an uber back okay you would have made the trip anyways um and to me that's kind of renewable that made sense to me like obviously it's a cute gesture like i love the idea of it but to me it's just like yeah also i won't expect that of someone so i'm going to

ask especially if you say your dad works there it's like a regular sort of trip that needs to be made so it's not like someone was away for so long and you haven't seen them or you know what i mean because i feel like for me i love picking people up from the airport
