This week we’re stepping into the office and chatting about all things corporate life - from freezing aircons and office characters to the unspoken rules, pet peeves, and the jobs some people take…
No entities detected.
um so we were like let's have like a deep dive into all classic corporate stuff and yeah get into some of these topics um so i'm gonna actually start off we put in a few polls on the stories just to get like a kind of scope of i want to say the crowd and what is like the percentages of some of these questions um so the first one is i work in an office i work from home i have wait let me actually just read like it in order so the first question was regarding work setup okay um And actually 43% of the listeners says I work in an office, which I'm kind of surprised about.
Yeah,
I was also quite surprised because I thought there's really, I think everyone thought after COVID there's going to be like a big shift to everyone working from home.
But I actually like that people went back to
office.
What was your setup like when you used to work
from home? I've never got the chance to work from home.
Like not a single day in my working life.
Wow.
Um, except like, I think literally like one day when there was like a storm.
Yeah.
Um, so, but I might say I actually enjoy going into offers and If I was the CEO of a company, I would also want my colleagues, my staff to come in.
I feel like that's the only way you really have control over it.
And that's the only way you can kind of control the environment or whatever.
But
anyways.
That's a great opinion.
Then 37%, so basically just less than half, said I have one problem.
two, three days work from home.
And I fall in this category.
So I work currently for ShopRite X, so I'm not like, but again, almost done but um and the whole business is built on uh yeah some teams have like two days some teams have three days it kind of differs um but i yeah i've got like two two three days kind of that is ideal like i would love to work from home because i would literally i get cabin fever if i work just from home that's a thing but being able to just some days do your classic i feel like everyone used this example but like to be able to do your laundry while you're working from home and just
like if you're expecting a package or like even if they need to replace something at home or your cleaner is there or whatever the case may be like it's just yeah a little bit more
flexible so i love that and also if you want to go for away for a weekend like you can work the friday from there blah blah blah you guys know how it works then we had 17 percent of people saying i work from home which is also actually a lot yeah that's crazy because it means that's like okay
but that would also obviously be like influencers content creators yeah
And then we also have a co-working space option, which only 3% chose that one.
