The point is these dispatches are a way for me to share with you what's happening on Substack and also get you excited about being on Substack because sometimes we get so myopic and we're just thinking likes and subscribers and posts and this and notes and whatever.

And we forget that Substack is a phenomenon.

And I talk about this in this post, but it's a total phenomenon and it is like nowhere else on the Internet and it will always be that way.

And that's really amazing when you think about it.

And we forget that and we forget that we're part of this moment in history and this moment in our culture where independent writers and creators have been given a space to to have power and make our own livings.

We can just make this up, which is amazing.

So anyway, all of that, that's what these dispatches are for.

And then also just to give you the tidbits, the things that are coming up that I hear myself saying in my client sessions, that I hear myself saying in premier calls that I just know I want to share more widely too.
