So, and this episode really is kind of like a preface to that workshop because you need to know who your right fit client is before you really do anything in your business.

And I say that because for the most part, just from my own personal experience, and We don't jump into the travel business.

Like we don't start a travel agency thinking about other people per se, like necessarily.

We know we're going to have to work with other people because we're going to need clients.

But when like we talk about like why we got into the travel industry for the most part, it's because we love travel and because we wanted to make money off of something in the travel industry or because of travel.

So a lot of the marketing, when you first get started, kind of looks from that vantage point.

It's a lot of like you marketing and not necessarily what you can do to help your clientele.

I think of Stuart from Mad TV, like, look what I can do is kind of A lot of the marketing that I see like either newbies or people who just haven't figured out who their ideal client is or what the right messaging for their business is.

And it's because you're going at this from an angle of you and you are number one and your business revolves around you.

Because I want to kind of turn around that narrative that you should not be at the forefront of your marketing.

And I think of this like go, I'm going back into like my master's degree coursework.

So if you didn't know, I have a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and I have a bachelor, sorry, that's my bachelor's degree.

Everything in my coursework for that master's degree is had to do with the mission of the organization.

And so again, we're not nonprofit entities, but kind of like taking some of those principles.

The mission of your business is really to make sure that your clients are having a spectacular experience.
