Jamie BorthwickHostSo give me your thoughts as someone who was over there just on the reaction to Scotland fans and how that parleys itself into, into our version of football.

Although that fi- that five-day wait felt like it was gonna go on for, um, forever.

So may- maybe they are still just waiting on some, um, crazy, uh, concoction of results to come their way.

They took over the tournament for that kind of not quite, was it 10 days [laughs] that they were there.

Um, and it, it absolutely blew the, the, the Bostonians away, because the thing I can remember seeing a couple of times, like, going into s- into the, the center of Boston and just seeing kilts and Scotland tops and hijinks everywhere.

Um, and I, and I turned around to my, my mates and I s- and I said, "Imagine if this was in Edinburgh.

But the, the people of Boston came down to see it and join in and because, like, it was like some sort of crazy unleashing of a, of a, of a party atmosphere that so many of them said that they hadn't really felt or seen in a really, really long time.

And this was the case in Miami as well actually, but particularly in Boston, so many folk just said, "God, we really needed this." Like, not to worry about stuff and just to actually just not have any inhibitions and concerns and everything, and just go and have a really good time with everyone.

And you saw it with the mayor getting right into it, wearing a Scotland top for her TV appearances.

I think the mayor actually, uh, placed a cone on a statue as well ceremonially.

We had, um, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski putting on kilts and putting a cone on the George Washington statue in Boston Common.

I can see why obviously so many members of the, the Patriots organization would've been at those Scotland games, um, at Gillette down in Foxborough and went, "Yeah, we want, we want a piece of this." I'm not sure if they would get anything particularly like that if they got an NFL game in Scotland.

I've gotta say, I feel like that, that level of, um, party atmosphere and hijinks only kinda comes when Scots travel.
