The reason liposuction is so popular. WOR show 6/13/26

All right, so liposuction.

How many last year? About 350,000 in the United States.

It's probably a lot more than that.

Those numbers tend to be on the low side.

Those were the numbers from 2024.

We don't have the updated numbers yet, even though it's been a couple of years.

But I have been doing liposuction.

And why do I call it liposuction? I'm the only one in the country that still calls it liposuction.

But way back in the 80s, when it all began, everybody called it liposuction.

And then those guys from Texas started saying, hey, how about that liposuction? With that accent.

And everybody said, OK, I guess it's liposuction.

But if you think about it.

If you've studied chemistry, they're not lipids, they're lipids, and it's liposuction.

So that's how I am a purist when it comes to language, and we'll call it liposuction, but I'll answer you if you want to call it liposuction.

So it's fat removal.

And we are blessed with fat.

You don't think so, do you? We've done everything possible to get rid of our body fat, haven't we? We've had surgery.

We've had diets.

We have these new GLP drugs.

Everybody wants to get rid of our fat.

But, you know, it has a survival advantage.

And in society over the centuries, it was the people that had some body fat that were considered more beautiful because those were the people with money.

They could afford food.

But here we are in the whatever, the 21st century now.
