Wow. LAUNCH WEEK WAS A LOT! So strap in, because Paul is giving you a level of detail only previously experienced in those phone calls with your Nan where she tells you about her friend Margaret's…

Last time you heard from me, I was on the verge, on the threshold, on the brink of something.

Uh, And yeah, the week, the week that was launch week happened and it happened in lots of different ways, happened in some incredible ways.

So today I just want to catch you up, let you know what's going on in my head, although you might not want to.

And where to begin, I guess, just with the biggest thank you to everyone who I saw last week, everyone who I spoke to last week, everyone who messaged me, everyone who sent me an emoji, everyone who bought a book.

I think the only way to do this for now was chronologically, because I think otherwise I'm just going to lose track of what was going on.

So I recorded the podcast last Monday, finished that, and then went into another podcast with my friend Thomas Leeds, who's an amazing author and Thomas has also been on this podcast and we had a wonderful chat and Thomas's books, the J. Ben series, a series of kids books are incredible.

Please have a listen either to the episode that I did with Thomas here or or to his podcast and preferably both.

And he has this fantastic podcast called Flashback Tracks, where each guest chooses a piece of music, a song that takes them back to a very specific point in time, because Thomas began to get his memories back when he heard a song from the 80s that kind of woke something up.

I talk about my relationship with Madonna's Open Your Heart, obviously had to be a Madonna song, and how it came into my life around the time of my 13th birthday.
