i'm grateful you're here listeners you're going to enjoy this let me tell you a little bit about scott he's uh what i would call a texas banking icon i didn't tell him i was going to call him that but as a former banker with a fraction of the years of experience i just i can tell you the perspective that i have and from around the state about scott and his bank he's been in banking i think 55 years He told me 50 years last month at First Financial in Abilene, Texas, where he's been in the leadership.

You were in the CEO's seat for... like 36 of those years but did the math right

and chairman chairman now executive chairman and let me just tell you a little bit about the bank uh last i checked about 15 billion in assets and um a few more things from his bio texas tech graduate back in the mid 70s and then later came back in a prominent leadership role in the board of regents also Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.

And if I'm remembering right, about 10 years ago or so, they honored you as a distinguished alumnus of that banking school.
