Eric AlexanderHostWell, those buy side deals we did together were fascinating transactions and you guys were on the, the very good end of buyers and keeping things together before doing an act of the transaction.
I look at both buy side and sell side and we're, we banking, we're in the people business.
And if you're, you're not going to do right by your people throughout the process, you'll lose value.
And we're here to, great value for our shareholders, but also to create meaningful experiences for our colleagues.

It's easy in the middle of the transaction, caught up in the numbers, caught up in the flow, the documents, the documents that go on and on and on are complex and to forget that it's all about people and all kinds of constituencies all around us when we're doing it.
And on the sales side, if you don't focus on the people, you don't really have much to deliver.
And the worst thing that can happen for a board of directors on the sales side is to decide to sell your bank and not protect your people because they're your most valuable resources.
And then heaven forbid you don't sell the bank and now you don't have a bank to run because all the people you were supposed to deliver that were helping you make that venture valuable are no longer there.
And so we, I look at, I like to get involved early on and help folks put together transition arrangements that will work throughout the whole process.
And everybody, the more transparent you are, the, more comfortable people are and they trust you and things just go so much more smoothly.
If you don't tell folks what's going on, they get, they imagine the worst and they get really greedy and that destroys value in very, very quickly.
You can lock the security, cybersecurity, the whole thing, but it's all about the people.
