Today in the gospel that has been read to us, we read one of the, um, the Iams that our Lord, when He was incarnate, came to tell us about Himself.
[clears throat] And throughout the Holy Fifties, we are going to read different passages from the Gospel of Saint John speaking about the I Am.
Speaking about Him being the bread of life, which was read today, about Him being the living water, and later Him being the light, [clears throat] and different I Am's throughout the Holy Fifties that Christ manifesting Himself to us in different methods and different I Am's.
Today, the famous I Am the bread of life, which always brings our minds to be, to Eucharist, to the altar.
The bread of life is always associated with Him speaking of Himself being the Eucharist, being given for the life of the world.
But maybe today, um, we want to look at the passage or at the phrase I am the bread of life, to look at something else other than the Eucharist or as well as the Eucharist.
