Beer Thirty - Anderson Valley Brewing - Black Light - LIGHT DARK Beer

This, you know, pouring into our beer clean, Danny, right? glasses uh you know this thing is dark like obsidian it does look like guinness it does look um this reminds me a lot of the uh black lager yeah that we had oh yeah from anderson valley too i believe it was rice lager

you're correct sir uh nose on this thing there's not a lot there but with a a light beer i mean i get a little little waft of malt but not anything overpowering by any stretch of the means um Yeah, let's dive

in.

The nose is so subtle.

There's just not...

And again, I realize

it's a low-carb, low-cal, dark beer,

so there's going to be an element of this where everything's going to be kind of muted, I think.

Yeah.

You know, so...

Softened.

So... i'm not disappointed in that i just it's notable or it's noteworthy that it doesn't smell like anything um i like the viscosity of this the head retention on it you can see it in the video i mean you poured these how long ago and we still it's still got some head to it it's still got some froth to it it's

got some body yeah

yeah uh that's a really that was a welcome surprise i thought there would be nothing to this across the board um i like the viscosity of this i like the mouthfeel in this beer

um it definitely it If you're looking for something heavier, like it looks like a stout, it doesn't have the same texture and mouthfeel as it does.

It's a little watered down, but it's not anything noticeable, like if you did a blind taste to it.
