The other question I'm wondering about, so we've talked about social constructs and you writing about the way we're interacting with each other.
I'm wondering what inspires you to write so does something happen and you decide to write about it or is there an emotion? I just
carry out my day-to-day living and then something triggers like interest in me and then I just sort of absorb it I sit with it and then I just sense have a sense of like a strong emotion and then it triggers like a create a sense of creativity in me and then I sit with it and a poem comes.
Do you write like in a notebook or are you writing on your phone? Like where are you writing down your thoughts?
I have started to keep like a journal type book where I'm trying a daily practice of writing.
But if the poem comes to me all of a sudden and I don't have like a pen or a paper, I use my phone.
different what you write if you're writing in your book as opposed to on your phone? Does it change what you write, do you think?
I think it does when it comes to me and I'm not prepared there's more of an urgency with the creativity to sort of unlock it and then when I sit with the book there's
just less urgency
Yeah, the urgency in terms of like, it just comes at a slower pace when I use the book, more slower, reflective, and it's more instantaneous with the phone.
guess that makes sense, right? Because with technology, we have this I do too, like when you said that, like, yes, that's how I feel when I'm using my phone.
I feel a bit more kind of frantic and like, oh, yeah, I've got to get this down and you've got to rush.
Whereas, yeah, when I'm on the page, it is a slower thing, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, that's really fascinating.
Though I can fit in with new people, work a crowd, manage competing needs of people, the tiresome peopling we all do.
