Well, I wasn't expecting it to chatting to Phil I mentioned pure and simple which I feel is very much a theme if not the theme of my present life this word pure we use it throughout our lives don't we what does it mean Like so many of the words, particularly ones that have spiritual connections, in my experience it goes on evolving all our lives.

What did it mean, pure in heart, let alone to see God? Now, strangely enough, I won't venture to comment on seeing God, but purity of heart does, again I say, dare to say, because not exactly thin ice but fools rush in where angels fear to tread and I think to venture to expound on purity as I understand it now is It's a funny thing, but I'm really quite nervous of words these days, particularly spiritual words, talking about spiritual things.

Perhaps that's something to do with it, that it's not purity of words, it is purity of heart.
