so before we record we always do a grounding just to kind of set our energy and put ourselves in the right space And today you had me do the grounding.
And while we were doing the grounding, I just got this wave of emotion that came
I have four children and I experienced postpartum depression with a couple of my pregnancies.
And I've navigated through some really challenging experiences in my adult life and have still managed to work through it and brave it and face it and do what I need to do.
You know, if I broke my arm, people would rally around me to help me with that break in my arm.
If I got COVID, right, people would probably show up at my door with soup and other ways of helping me navigate through that.
But there's something that happens when we say I'm depressed and our brain isn't working right.
And so even if you're in a room filled with people, you can still feel very alone.
And as we were doing this grounding today, I just felt so prompted to to share the darkness and share what I'm going through because I know that I'm not the only one.
And I think sometimes we get this idea that if we're spiritual enough, like if we do what we know to do, then all's right with the world, right? We're going to be okay.
