The look on his face of just pure relief.

When I said that, I couldn't believe it.

He had been carrying around this feeling of insecurity for many, many months.

He had even said to me, just don't go find someone at church.

Don't go leave me for someone that you meet at church.

Many times over a couple of months, he had said this, and I didn't recognize it for what it was at first.

Until I did.

And I was able to have this conversation with him and share with him that my God, the God that I believed in, would never tell me to leave my husband because my husband didn't believe in him.

And I knew this because many years before, I was searching the Bible to see if I could leave my husband because he didn't believe in God.

No, that's not in there, by the way, just so you know.

Oh, that was horrible.

But it's true.

It was so true.

And the relief on his face, what he said to me, he goes, I don't, I'm not feeling insecure.

I didn't think that you would leave me.

And I said, honey, you've said it multiple times.

In fact, he had just said it right before I made this comment.

And I said, and it's okay.

I need you to know, like, I've also felt this way.

I have felt so worried that you would leave me because of my faith.

And so we had this beautiful conversation.

And as you can see, the enemy, when you start pursuing the Lord, the enemy wants to keep you quiet.

So he's going to use these points.

He's going to bring insecurity into your marriage, even if there's never been an insecurity before.

He's going to introduce the thought of, oh, she might leave you for someone else or, oh, no. He's going to leave you because your faith is going to be too much for him or whatever else that may sound like to you or to your husband.
