Jasper CalcaraGuestRoberta NdlelaHostDo you think there's a bit of a stigma when it comes to men and seeking help through therapy or counseling versus, because us women, it's just general, it's just normal.
Even when you speak with friends, you're like, oh, girl, yeah, I spoke to my therapist last week.
But is there still a stigma when it comes to men? Because when you were talking about how sometimes things would fall apart with them and they don't see their children and whatnot, are they still seeing therapy as something that's taboo?

I think still we're making progress, but I definitely still think that, you know, there's this male role that we're supposed to fill the provider.

In many cases, whether we put that on ourselves, our parents do, society does.

It's very common, you know, that that's kind of this expectation to be strong, to be firm, to take on anything.

It's dangerous not to address these things and heal these things because, again, you see it constantly around you.

I don't hear a lot of highly successful business owners out there really talking about deep emotional things.

It's definitely much more common and people are much more comfortable in discussing getting help and therapy.
