I was a little bit like, oh, season seven.

And then we watched the episode.

I was like, I quite like this episode.

This is like a good opening episode.

And I don't quite know how much of that is just because I haven't watched Shameless in a while.

And it's like, oh, I like you people.

But yeah, I thought it was a good episode.

I think it had quite a lot of the sort of perennial, shameless opener problems, which is that kind of nothing really happened.

Yeah, but I do think that we hit a lot of the dynamics and moments that we've been really, really missing for the past, certainly the past last season, and I think a little bit for the past couple of seasons as

well.

I also think nothing really happens, but within the absolute exact context in which we finished season six... and are now picking things up again.

Like, I don't feel like anything was skipped or, like, rebooted.

And that's quite enjoyable.

Like, so it's 29 days since the end of season six, which is, like, the first time we actually have, like, this exact a time frame.
