You know, we talked earlier about how there's, like, a murky line between what our values are and what the people's values around us are, and how do we know that we're actually doing something for ourselves versus just doing something to please other people.
And so I think one of the, one of the kind of the initial useful exercises is simply practicing a thought experiment of, like, removing those social pressures.
So the simple version of this is that imagine you're on a desert island, and the desert island is absolutely abundant.
Any, like, video games you enjoy, or hobbies you might have, or, uh, different foods that you might want.
Like, hypothetically, you are capable of doing anything on this island that you can do off of the island.
