Clay, Tuerrelle & Dawson discuss the Eagles week 2 victory over the Tennessee Titans!
So, we were a little off with our predictions.
We were right about one thing, the temperature.
Real scorcher in Tennessee for the Sunday's matchup between the Eagles and the Titans.
I think on the field temperature at kickoff was 35 degrees Celsius.
The temperature of the field, some people were saying, was scanning up to 55 to 60 degrees Celsius, which... players cleats were melting it was apparently yeah it was kind of nuts um but what matters most is the eagles found a way to win 24 20. um like i just said way closer than i think any of us expected but two and oh to start the year like that that's an important thing especially you know in these games the beginning of the season when we're still figuring out so much I'll start with you, Doss.
Like, what's just kind of like your overall takeaway from a week two matchup with the Titans?
Yeah, you know, it's a tough game.
Dallas goes out early.
We're without Saquon most of the game.
Very hot.
But, you know, Jalen found a way to get it done.
You know, two interceptions.
One of them was a bad read straight up.
I'm sure he would hold that one.
But the second one, he was hit while he was thrown.
Probably could have been a touchdown if he had a little bit more time.
um but you know that that last that last two minute drill you know impressive drive not only for jalen but for sean manion as well i was happy with the play calling and you know jalen he rises to the occasion he's a clutch performer we've known this about him for years now so a lot of a lot of faith in that locker room going up going into that last drive and um it was just exciting to see them pull it out

Troll, what did you expect? I know we weren't expecting, like the Titans lost to the Jets last week.
They looked terrible.
It seemed like they were a little tuned up for this game, though.
Yeah, I mean, it was kind of a weird game.
the beginning the things that like we were typically kind of expected weren't really happening like the defense was i mean the defense played well early but they struggled a bit down the stretch with i mean a lot down the stretch with tackling we're usually a very sound tackling team um maybe more like i don't i don't believe that's like a permanent thing where we're going to be struggling with tackling but i think On the other side of the ball, maybe something more telling is our run game seems to be secondary to our pass game in terms of efficiency by quite a wide margin.
So it might be worth considering relying on the pass game more than the run game for now.
But I mean, we'll get into all this later.
