OMG I’ve got a cautionary tale that I’m still upset about although it didn’t even happen to me. Get ready for some Snarky emo. Next up, I finally update the Alpine Divorce phenomenon and y’all it also…

Hello, hello, and welcome to the Snarky in the Suburbs podcast.
I am so glad you're here.
We are starting off with a Dear Snarky update.
It's from the woman, uh, who wrote, uh, wrote to us because she wanted to, um, get some advice about a friend who s- she said was plastic surgery obsessed.
We have an update.
Oh my God.
Then I have a letter from a daughter, um, who feels betrayed by her mother.
Happy Mother's Day, everyone.
That's what I'm saying.
I mean, and her mother's dead, and she still feels betrayed, and I don't know how to tell her to process those feelings.
Perhaps we can work it out together.
Um, finally, after talking about it for, like, three podcasts, we're...
It's, it's number two on my list.
We're going to talk about the Alpine divorce.
Couple podcasts ago, maybe five or six, we discussed the Alpine divorce.
Um, and then all these articles have been coming out in newspapers and magazines, and y'all, the BS I'm reading, I am not happy at all.
Um, then I have an observation, the Met Gala.
Please, people, just...
You know, the Met Gala, not- I'm not gonna bury the lede, would be a personal nightmare of mine.
Like, why anybody would wanna go, I don't know.
Um, a mini observation regarding flip-flops.
Stay with me.
It's...
I'm gonna say it, and then you're gonna think about it for the rest of the day.
And then my confession from the Snarky Confessional, really in honors of, in honor of Mother's Day, my parenting flaws, that turned out, spoiler, not to be flaws at all.
Um, I am not going to, on my podcast, admit that I was ever a bad parent.
Why would I do that? I'm not gonna do it.
If you're waiting for that, it is not happening.
Okay, let's get first to this letter.
