🪜 Rocking the Ladder 🪜

[gentle music] One day, a little boy named Benjamin was helping his dad do some work in the yard.

Now, they had done some gardening and they'd pulled out some weeds, and now they were getting ready to do some pruning of some plants, but the branches were a little bit too high.

"Uh, Benjamin," said his dad, "can you go grab the ladder out the shed?" "Sure," said Benjamin.

"Uh, I, I can do that." And so he went over towards the shed.

As he got close, though, he could hear some noises inside.

Bang, crash, boom.

"Oh, I think it's this way.

Uh, [mimics crashing] ooh, is it this one? I don't [mimics crashing]" What is that? Thought Benjamin as he raced towards the shed.

When he opened the door, there was a panda inside.

"Hey, how you doing?" "Uh, who, who are you?" said Benjamin.

"My name's Panda Pete, uh, and I've been looking for, uh ...

Oh, here it is." "Uh, that's our ladder." "No, that's not your ladder.

That's my ladder," said Panda Pete.

"Uh, well, no, it's, uh ...

Oh, hang on.

No, that, that isn't our ladder.

It looks a bit different." "Yes, of course it looks different because it's my ladder.

Well, mine to borrow for the moment," said Panda Pete.

"What do you mean?" said Benjamin.

"Well, have a look at the ladder.

What seems different?" Benjamin looked at the ladder and all of a sudden he realized, "Where's the top of the ladder?" "Exactly," said Panda Pete.

"What do you mean exactly?" said Benjamin.

"Well, this is a very special ladder and it does very special things because you never know where you might end up up the top." "Um, end up up the top?" said Benjamin.

"Yes, it's special.

Uh, you should definitely come for an adventure with me up my ladder." "Well, you're just gonna climb up and touch the roof of the shed, aren't you?" "No.
