Now, they were extremely excited because they had been saving up their pocket money for a very long time and had finally bought a brand-new remote control car.
Now, they were just beginning to pull it out of the packet when they heard a voice behind them.
[in foreign accent] "Oh, that looks cool.
What is that?" They look around, but they could only see an open window.
"Who, who said that?" said Arty.
Then a purple fuzzy creature poked his head in through the window.
"It is me, the Pim Pim." "Pim Pim?" said Arty.
"Uh, yes, it is me.
Yes.
Have you not heard of me before?" "Uh, I don't think so," said Miles.
"Well, that is very confusing because I thought that everybody knew the Pim Pim because I am the best." "Uh, uh, okay," said Miles.
"Well, what are you doing here?" "Well, I heard some noise of something unwrapping, and I thought, 'That sounds like fun.
I wonder what it is.' And so I stuck my head in through your window, and I have seen that brand-new, shiny car.
I like it a lot.
Okay, you can do the first turn, and then I will take it home with me." "What?" said Arty.
"You, you can't take it home with you." "Why not?" "Because it's our remote control car.
We had to save up for this for a long time." "Well, how do I get a remote control car?" "Um, well, do you have any money?" "No," said Pim Pim.
"Um, do you get pocket money?" said Miles.
"No," said Pim Pim.
"Well, you, you need to be able to get some money to be able to buy a remote control car." "Well, how do I get money? Can I take your money?" "No, no, that's, that's stealing," said Miles.
"Oh, okay.
Well, how am I meant to get it?" "Well, you, you could get a job." "A job?" said Pim Pim.
"What is a job?" "It's when you do work and, and you can get money for doing work." "Oh, okay.
Uh, okay.
What job are you giving me?" "Uh, we, we can't give you a job." "Oh, well, how do I get a job?" "Well, I think you can, like, look in places that are advertising for jobs." "Uh, okay.
