[gentle music] One day, two kids named Tyler and Katie were playing in their tree house.
Now, they'd been having lots of fun making up their own little games when outside their tree house they heard a voice.
"Hello.
Hi.
Anybody there?" "Who, who's that?" said Tyler.
"I don't know," said Katie.
"Let's go look." They race to the edge of the tree house to see.
"Um, there's no one there," said Tyler, "just a donkey." "Yeah, just me, the donkey." "What?" said Katie.
"Did that donkey just talk?" "Uh, I think so," said Tyler.
"Wow, did he?" said the donkey.
"Uh, y- you're the donkey." "Oh, yeah.
[laughs] Yep, that's me.
[laughs] Hi." "Um, who, who are you?" said Tyler.
"My name is Dilbert Octavius Gregorius III, but my friends just call me Dog." "Dog the donkey?" said Katie.
"[laughs] That's me.
[laughs] Hey, what are you kids doing?" he said.
"Um, well, we were just playing in our tree house, but we were trying to decide what to do next." "Um, well, I've got something exciting to do next," said Dog.
"What is it?" said Tyler.
"Well, I found this really cool thing in the forest and, and I thought it'd be fun to share it with some other people.
Do you guys wanna come?" "Um, oh, okay," said the kids.
"Hang on.
We'll just check with our dad." So the kids raced inside to chat with their dad.
"Hey, Dad, can we go on an adventure with a talking donkey?" "Um, sure," said their dad.
"Sounds like fun." "Okay." The kids race back outside.
"Hey, hey, Dog, we're, we're allowed to come." "Hooray," said Dog.
