As he was watching, a man with very long arms and very long legs came racing up towards him.
"Oh, dear, it's gotten away again.
Oh, what am I going to do?" "Um, excuse me," said Rory.
"Who, who are you?" "My name is Thingy Whopper." "Thingy Whopper?" said Sophia.
"That's a funny name." "Yes, I'm a very funny person, and [sniffs] do you have cupcakes?" "Well, no, we had some for breakfast, but we don't have any left." "Oh, I love cupcakes, but I love something else a lot as well." "What's, what's that?" said Dylan.
"My hat, and it keeps disappearing.
Today has been a very windy day, and my hat keeps getting away," he said.
"Um, well, maybe we could help you get it," said Sophia.
"Would you really?" said Thingy Whopper.
"Of course," said the kids.
"We can help, and maybe our dog can help, too.
Zoe! Zoe!" they called out.
And Zoe the dog came bounding over as well and started prancing around Thingy Whopper.
"Oh, hello, puppy." He reached out one of his very long arms and patted the dog on the head.
"Look, there's my hat," he yelled as he looked up.
