The four-year halving cycle has been Bitcoin's most reliable pattern since 2012, maybe even, like, the most reliable.

The halvening happens, price goes sideways, then it explodes, then it crashes hard, then it recovers.

This cycle, something different has happened, and I wanna talk about what it means.

[air whooshing] Let me just quickly explain the cycle for anyone who hasn't heard this before, because it's the foundation of everything else.


So 210,000 blocks is every, roughly every 10 minutes, and that adds up, adds up to roughly four years, pretty much.


In 2020, it halved to 6.25, and in April 2024, the most recent halving, it again cut in half to 3.125 bitcoin per block.
